Horizon specialise in antique marine periscopes and binoculars. They are stunning and can be fragile, in particular prone to dents and knocks. This means that they are packed with the utmost care, and securely so that regardless of the roughest handling the risk of damage is minimised as far as is possible.

Tony explains, “When you are working with pieces that are a hundred or more years old, you know that you have a responsibility to take good care of them. These items aren’t made anymore, items used on ships these days are made in a completely different way so you cannot just replace it with a new one if something goes wrong. We completely get that and deal with every shipment accordingly.”
